How To Have A Strong No And Stand In Your Yes

Have you ever been compelled to say “yes” when you really mean to say “no”? Or you say “yes” and then don’t really want to spend the time and energy to follow through?

Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in saying “yes” to everything and everyone which can lead to stress and burn out.

I’ve certainly been in this position at times in my life. I still have to watch what I commit to and why I’m choosing to commit. While there are many worth while causes, projects, activities and fun things to do, they’re not always in line with what you really want in you life.

Your time is precious and it’s important to know in advance what you most want to be doing with your time. Knowing this in advance can make it easier for you to confidently say “yes” and feel great about it or graciously decline and say “no” when it’s not the right fit or time in your life.

In this video, I share 3 questions that you can ask yourself to help you decide if saying “yes” is the right answer.  I also talk about how to be strong in your no so you honour what’s right for YOU.

I share a really simple, kind way to let someone know that you’re going to pass on an offer. It will honour them as well as your decision. Check out the video for this little gem!

You don’t have to say “no” to everything.  Sometimes, you will want to say “yes”! When you make this decision, I encourage you to make sure you stand in your “yes” and fully commit. I outline some key factors in making this commitment so that everyone has a great experience!

Watch the video then leave me a comment below! Have you ever said “yes” when you really meant to say “no”? Is there anything you need to say “no” to right now?

As always, keep believing in yourself and keep going for your dreams. I know you can do it!
