How to Use Overwhelm to Your Advantage

Use Overwhelm

Overwhelm can sometimes stop you in your tracks and prevent you from moving forward when you most need to.  I can certainly attest to this and I know I’m not the only one who gets that feeling of panic periodically.

I’m currently in a really busy period of life lately. Between my businesses, speaking at events, travelling, delivering online programs, and a full personal life, I’ve had moments where I didn’t know where to start. There is so much that needs to get done to move things forward!

So, I had to take my own advice and break things down into bite size pieces that are manageable. Have you ever heard the saying “How do you eat an elephant?”.  The answer is “One bite at a time”.

Kind of morbid, I know. I’d never eat an elephant, but the metaphor is the point. In those moments of overwhelm, I have 3 things I do to help me get back on track and out of the rut of just spinning in circles. I share the three tips in this video – I use them all the time!

I also share why overwhelm can be a good thing and how you can use it to your advantage to figure out what’s really important to you and what you need to focus on most!
